Indian hip-hop’s iconic emcee and lyricist Raftaar – real name Dilin Nair – has released a star-studded eight-track EP on his 34th birthday. The EP, which features guest-appearances by Badshah on ‘RAASHAH’, Kr$na on ‘NO CHINA’, Karma on ’36’ and Sikander Kahlon on ‘F16’ , is one massive Indian rap project that no one saw coming.

While Raftaar did tease a collaborative effort with Badshah earlier this week, a full-length EP was out of the question till it came out at midnight today. The EP is released through Raftaar’s very own Kalamkaar Records and features productions by DXOR, Track Pros, UMAIR, YOUNGWILLY, Harm Sandhu and Raftaar himself. The album opens up with Kanye West(-esque) voice asserting “Praise God, Bro”.

The EP is a follow-up to Raftaar’s sophomore studio album ‘Mr. Nair’. Released on April 13 2020, the sixteen-track album had featured guest appearances by Manj Musik, Shah Rule, Kr$na, Deep Kalsi, Bordha V, Jordan Sandhu and more.
