One of Kalamkaar’s finest emcees Karma has “parted ways” with the iconic Indian Hip-Hop record label Kalamkaar Music. Founded in 2018 by the legendary rapper Raftaar, Kalamkaar Music started out with a massive roster of Indian artists including Indian Hip-Hop royalty Kr$na, Deep Kalsi, Brishav, Karma, Rashmeet Kaur and Yunan. The label represented MC Stan during his come-up in the Indian Hip-Hop scene as well.

“This is to let you guys know that I have decided to go solo and explore more about my artistic capabilities, in other words, I have parted ways with Kalamkaar and am not part of the company anymore,” Karma said in a statement.

The exact reason behind Karma calling it quits with Kalamkaar hasn’t been confirmed yet. However, the announcement has set massive waves across social media. Through Kalamkaar Music, Karma released some of the most influential rap records in Indian last year including ‘Tony Montana’ feat. Kr$na, ‘Narmahat Freestyle’, ‘Lena Mera Naam’ and more.
